When Kim Werker sent me an invite to the Flickr Ripple-Along I joined the group but thought that I'd be able to resist.
I'm thinking scarf. Even if Keohinani has a really lovely blankie started. Even if I have a new niece or nephew to crochet for (a cotton blankie, done up in Blue Sky Alpacas, shades of browns with green and cream, perhaps?). I got two balls of Trendsetter Kashmir in Bubblegum and Fuschia as a gift back in December of '05, and have been wondering what to do with them ever since. I bought the last two balls of Diamond Desire silk/cashmere blend yarn, and after I wash this swatch, I may stripe it with the Kashmir. The Diamond Desire is DK weight and the Kashmir is worsted, so I may have the change hook sizes to keep it looking even. If that doesn't work, I might just make scarflettes.
